Apparently Sprint doesn't keep an archive of your text messages but if someone has root access they can still get to your messages? Is this true? If so, what can you do to prevent this?

Also, can Bill archives never be deleted?

Sprint does not "log" text messages as a rule. Some tech support reps may be able to go into the system and see what all messages were sent but its unlikely.

No I dont believe their is a way to remove the access to your bill archives. I think they just are "auto deleted" after say 13 months.

If this is in regards to the sites offering to sell your phone detail for $110 for a month....... i'd not be worried. Alternatively if your worried and doing something you dont want known............ get a "prepaid" type phone from cingular / t-mobile and use it for your more private things! If the person doesnt know your mobile number they will not be able to get access to it!
