What are Casual 3G Events?

I'm checking my current usage and notice that under Casual 3G events, I have "0 Events remaining out of 0 total Events. You have exceeded your Events by 2."

What exactly are Casual 3G events? Picture mail? I have the PowerVision plus pack, which comes with Picture Mail. Do I still have to pay for each message sent? I don't have any SMS plan, but do have unlimited Wireless Web messages (whatever those are).

You say you dont have sms plan but my question to you is do you send or receive sms msgs anyway? with unlimited wwm u shouldnt be charged for sms msgs.

I had specifically canceled my SMS plan a few weeks ago (they had stuck in a $15 unlimited SMS). I'm over halfway done with the month and have used like 3 messages.

From "My Current Usage" that I just checked:

WIRELESS WEB MESSAGES
- you have unlimited WIRELESS WEB MESSAGES
(note that it doesn't show any used)
CASUAL SMS TEXT MESSAGING
- There are 0 Events remaining out of 0 total Events. You have exceeded your Events by 3.
CASUAL 3G EVENTS
- There are 0 Events remaining out of 0 total Events. You have exceeded your Events by 2.

Could be, but I used up 1 free download about a week ago, and 3 more two days ago. of the free downloads 2 days ago. There is only 2 Casual 3G Events shown.

I guess this would become a bit clearer once the bill comes. I hate calling *2 -- their hold-time estimates are always wrong.

well bcuz you they had the sms plan that u didnt want thats where the wireless web msgs come but seems that u didnt send any until after u cancelled the sms plan thats where the casual texts come in. As far as 3g casual events could be that system just havnt updated it. when i got my 840 n checked the a/c on the phone it said i exceeded as well but i wasnt charged so.

I had 7 events over 0 allowed and was charged $12 for data usage.
I kept checking usage after using the web and it didn't change so
it must have been from downloading games and ringers and also
the 5 free songs.

There are other Casual 3G events that happen from time to time in the Watercooler. Check them out some time...it's been a while since we had one. I keep losing my pants when I go to them!
