Sprint service on a GSM RAZR

Ok, This trick is a little bootlegged, but you WILL be able to use Sprint on the RAZR. Some of you know that if you buy a Samsung a790, you can get a Sprint SIM card. Take that card with you when you travel and pop it into an unlocked razr and see what happens! :) A buddy of mine got it to work.

It's just one of those things you never thought you'd see. I'll see if I can get a pic

does the sprint sim allow you onto 850/1900 networks or only the euro ones? pretty sure it won't work on US carriers

euro only. the SIM card has the euro freq. only programmed into it.

It only has Overseas Roaming agreements on it......nothing with Cingular or T-Mobile.

It wont work in the U.S. If you want a Sprint SIM, call up corporate and ask if they can send you a SIM so you can keep your number, or tell them you have a 790 and need the SIM.

last time I looked... GSM in EU is not the same as over there.... plus why would you want to use the Razar... its too limited to what it cannot do!
every day that I work and ppl ask me when are wer going to get it... I just want to jump out the window and light myself on fire... Just go to phonescoop.com and compare the two side-by-side... you will see the differance...
