I just signed up for the 500 min sero plan with unlimited power vision. Im more interested in using my phone as a modem for my laptop however. I just got of the phone with a sprint rep and she told me she cant add the unlimited data for vision to my plan because I have sero. If i wanted any kind of unlimited data plan for the phone as modem, I would have to change my plan.

I dont want to do this as the SERO is an excellent plan. Ive already dished out the $200 to cancel my contract with Nextel so I could have a wonderful plan like this.

Do any of you sprint guys know of a way to add unlimited data (vision) to my power vision plan?? I would love you forever if it were possilbe!

you have unlimited data on power vision already...why do you need regular vision added to the account? Maybe I am misunderstanding the question...

You can tether using power vision, and occasional usage probably will not be much of an issue...if you plan to use the phone a lot with your laptop, you need a PV card for your laptop, or a modem plan on top of your regular PV plan...but I don't see how either has anything to do with adding regular vision to the account...

if they are telling you she can't add the modem plan for unlimited data on top of your SERO account, that does not make sense, although I wouldn't put it past Sprint...it could be more money in their pockets if they wanted it...

Im not sure how Sprint does it. But I work out of my car, and preffer to be on the safe side, so I do want to add the phone as a modem to my plan. what they are telling me is I need to add vision to use my phone as a modem. Im gunna call again today and see whats going on.

alright, im really starting to get annoyed. I keep running around in circles. I just got off the phone after another hour, and they tell me they cant add the phone as modem plan to my SERO plan. why is this? If this is the case im gunna send the phone back to sprint and im goin back to Nextel.

I've never heard of such a thing, although I am not an employee and don't know much about SERO plans...it seems pretty stupid that they are not willing to take another $40-$50 a month from you for a modem plan ON TOP OF your existing plan...what is the downside for Sprint?

I would email eCare, pretend you are inquiring for the first time about this, and see what they say...if you continue to get the run around, try executive services...eventually you will either get what you want, or at least a valid explanation for why they can't do it for you (rather than just "no")...

it is possible the plan code for modem usage simply cannot be added to a SERO plan, although again, I don't know why this would occur...

in any case, keep us posted and good luck...kick their ***** seabass...
