the last part is what bothers me... before when i had the regular vision plan i wasnt charged that much... so my question is: if i had a vision plan before they MADE me get the power vision, would i still be charged .02$/kb? and since i still recently cancled the plan, does the vision plan i have before reactivate?

this is confusing.. i never remember of having to pay such an outrageous price like that

i dont even see any regular vision packages in the avalible plans

Basically, no. If you read the Power Vision thread, it's not exactly possible to have a Vision plan put on a Power Vision phone. The only way that's worked is with an ESN swap, minus two very unique situations.

You cannot go back to Vision. It's Power Vision or No Vision.

Yes, it is a bummer. But there's nothing that can be done about it. Other than an ESN swap.

I haven't done the math, but without a Vision plan... yes, it would cost you money.

Be careful with the casual rateon EVDO...I added a line for an a900 for 7 days and the rep forgot to add vision of any kind...well my casual bill was $34.05 for 7 days...

Yeah, when I set up my A940 on a Power Vision plan, they screwed up everything and I was charged for every 2MP picture I uploaded. And all of the games and apps I downloaded. And all of the wallpapers. And all that Vision usage.

Over about 3 days, it was $80 in charges.

Yes. $0.02 per kilobyte equals $20.00 per megabyte!

1024 kB = 1 MB 6 x 1024 = 6144 kb 6144kb x $.02 = $122.88 Ouch. Makes that $15 - $20 PV plan attractive. And remember, that's before taxes are added in.

Yea make sure your vision plan is applied to your account before u start using those services. Rep forgot to put the vision on my new phone and i was charged over $300 for usage. Spent over 2 hours on phone with customer service and they couldnt resolve it. Finally sent email and rep took care of the credit immediately.

I switch to an A900 and was able to keep my old normal (non-Power) Vision plan.
I told the rep that I'm in a non EVDO area. He told me it doesn't matter. Then I told him my coworker also has the normal Vision package. He didn't believe me, but I gave him that number and he looked it up and then said OK!

I just got my phone (a900) and had the unlimited power vision free for the first month. It looks like I have been getting charged for downloading when it should be free, correct? I haven't downloaded anything from sprint or other pay sites...just been uploading wallpapers and such to sites like "http://www.funformobile.com/" and "http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php" where I cand download them. It should be free, right?
