On my A920 when I access Instant Messenging I get a prompt saying that it costs so much a month. When I access Yahoo or MSN from their websites, I can go to Messenger, already signed in ready to go. Why would I pay extra? Am I missing something? I never used them before, but since text messaging costs extra, I was going to use Messenger to text my wife.
Thanks for your patience.

I believe it is because you are trying to use the App based messenger and the latter is Web based. Someone correct me if this isnt right.

OK I can see that. Is there any benefit to the App. based version, or is Sprint trying to make a buck off of a dupe.

Sprint is a business,so they are out to make money,so yes,IMO. I use the Yahoo Mess app because its just seems easier for me.But with the web based ones I can check my email, etc at the same time.
