View Full Version : Why Are Sanyo 7400's Ringers So Quiet!?

I just bought a 260 dollers phone which is a Sanyo 7400... well i download ring tones off of 3guploads... and they are loud but not as loud as they should be.. you hear them but ihave my volume on 4 so it should be pretty loud but its not.. does anyone know why this is?

The 7400 doesn't do QCP ringers very loudly at all. QCP are the older, lower quality ringers. The 7400 does support AAC ringers, wich are much better quality and play amazingly loud on the 7400. I have no idea if 3guploads has AAC ringers or not though. There are a few sites, including mine and Luie's that have AAC ringers.

yeah aac's are MUCH louder. the 7400 is one of the loudest phones sprint has. read the faq for a thread on how to make your own aac tones for free

My 7400 has one ring that is a siren and is loud. I use it for people that only call for important stuff so I hear it on the tractor or other loud places.
I don't use it for everyone because it is way anoying
