AIM not working on my a900.

When I choose the app section to download it, it sends me to a page that says: We're sorry, this is currently not available. When I try to connect through the web-based version it just tells me: Request failed, try again.

Ideas?

Yeah, unfortunately it isn't available yet... However, as much as I don't like the site, I will direct you to **********.com. You will have to make an account, but you can download the AIM application from them and the use Rumkin or Gtoal to upload it to your phone (see the uploaders sticky in this forum).

I got a jar and jad, and rumkin won't let me upload the jad.. do I need the jad file?

Okay, I would try Gtoal then. The link is in the uploaders sticky. Gtoal will let you use the JAD file. I think Funformobile might let you use it, too.

es they do, but the only problem is that I don't get SMS messages... so I need the uploader to be like Rumkin were I can WAP it.. (I think that's the term.. so I can upload it to the site and use a jump code to DL it).

After you use the Gtoal uploader it will give you the link,so just enter it in your phone browser.

^ Yes, like he said. You can just enter a bogus phone number so that you won't get the text (something like a landline number or something). Once it's uploaded, they give you a link to browse to.

It's a personal issue with the people who run it. Lots of people love that site and I don't wish to detract from that, therefore I'm keeping it private and biting my tongue when I have to direct people in that direction.
