I emailed CS asking... I was wondering if I would to add a text messaging plan right
now, would you deduct the old messages you used from the new plan
allotment. Thanks a lot and have a great day.

She responded with this....

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel. I will be happy
to assist you regarding the Text messages.

I reviewed your account and noticed that so far 248 Text messages have
been used on the account.

I am sorry to say that it is not possible to deduct these text messages
from the new plan.

However I offer you the credit for these messages. When you receive
the next invoice, please write back to us. We will credit the account for
these messages. I have put a note on your account in this regard.

Furthermore sprint offers the following text messaging option:

1- $5.00 Text Messaging option
Includes 100 text messages

2-$8.00 Text Messaging option
Includes 500 text messages

3-$15.00 Text Messaging option
Includes unlimited text messages

If you want to add any of the above given option, please write back to
us.

Waiting for your reply.

So are they saying they will credit those text messages if I sign up for a text messaging plan in the next month? or what exacatly are they saying

Yes,they will credit your account for the text,if you reply to them.Just call CSR and ask if the note was put on your account. Also if I were you and you plan on using the text messaging feature,I would add it to your account. But,I would do this soon. Now to whether you add it is your option.

Save that email! That's your proof. After you get the bill, then they'll follow through should you remember to call them. =)
