Have you updated your phone's firmware to the latest version?

Have you tried downloading On Demand 1.1 from **********.com? This is one of the legitimate uses of such a Web site.
At least on the Sanyo MM-9000, v1.1 is the one that can actually do GPS location; v1.0 only finds the local cell site, and v1.2 only finds Sprint headquarters.

I am stuck w/ ver 1.0.
Everytime I try to update any of the content the phone locks up & crashes.
What in the world does reingerpost have to do w/ this. I went there & they have nothing for on demand.

We can't link directly to it on their site, but if you look under their applications section and you don't see it as On Demand, try looking it up as PageOne or something like that. That's what it was called before it was implemented on the PV phones.

I assume the only way to see the applications is to register w/ them? I f this is the case then I will wait & hope to take care of this at the sprint store.

Yes. I believe it even says that right at the top of the page.

Why do you need ********** to update On Demand? On Demand automatically checks for updates by itself. On my MM-9000, On Demand automatically downloaded and installed the 1.1 upgrade.

I dunno. From the OP quote below:
Everytime I try to update any of the content the phone locks up & crashes.
I assumed the problem he was having was with the program crashing when retrieving content data (news, sports, weather, etc data), which is a separate issue from being able to upgrade the program itself.
Program crashing when retrieving content data could be due to low memory.

I am actually unable to do either. My phone completely crashes everytime I go into On Demand. I can look at the help tab to get the version but if I try to go into any of the channels then my phone freezes.
If I hit the update tab at the bottom my phone also freezes.
