I've heard when you get a text mess from a sprint number it doesn't count from total.
If this is true is this the same true from nextel customers like mobile to mobile. Thanks in advance.

SMS is SMS regardless of its source. Every message transferred counts against your totals.

incoming SMS from other Sprint SMS phones are not counted against your total. not sure about the whole Nextel bit though

I was told by the CSR that if the SMS come from Sprint Messaging site, then it does not count. Every other SMS counts. Therefore I can't even use the Focus here for free.

All INCOMING text messages regardless of where they come from are free and do not count towards your total.

Not really:

Individual SMS Text Messages that are not included in your plan upgrade are $0.10 each. Casual/Additonal text messages not included in your plan are $0.10 per message.
