We got the request ringers in the request ringer thread but how many people actually got to this thread. I have requested ringers there and no response but when you create additional threads about it people want to chop your head off. So how long are we supposed to wait for a request in the right thread

My recomendation is ask someone specificaly to make you a ringer.
I wont ssay my friends name but I am sure he will see this thread and if he wants he can PM you.
Alot of others can make them aswell, But I have John Wayne

making ringtones is pretty easy and the software to make them are free too
why not search for the song, or sound u want and make your own
theres info here about how to make them
but it would be nice to have a collection of ringers here

Okay, I'm going to be as patient as possible. We have ONE guy who fills requests and he does, believe it or not, have a life outside of making ringtones for people. If you pay attention to the thread, he posts everything on his WAP site, so that's where you have to check to see if he's filled your request.
Also, as already stated, it takes all of two minutes to make a ringtone yourself. And I have never chopped off anyone's head for making a separate post JUST for their own ringtone request. I simply close it and move on. I take no trophies with me.
*Edit: Actually, I'm going to correct myself. Usually, if I see someone who has posted a separate thread for his or her ringtone request, I will merge it with the main request thread. That way the request goes where it should have in the first place and I usually catch them fast enough that they aren't lost among other requests.
Again I want to mention we have ONE guy who fulfills requests. One. Chances are requests you've made HAVE been fulfilled or he had already made that ringtone. You need to check his site, as both he and I have mentioned several times in that thread.
I don't allow separate threads for requests because it's sloppy. Also, you may not believe this, but making a separate thread for your request won't get you any more attention. Plenty of people make ringtones, but very few actually make them by request. Most will only make what they already have, while Louie, our ringtone guru, will make whatever you ask for so long as he can find it. And if he can't, he tries to get a hold of it from the person who requested it.
So, again, just check his site. Or PM him if you think your request got lost among the dozens and dozens that are posted every week.

No, it would be illegal, and that's why we don't post ringtones here. SU is a site that obeys the law as much as we possibly can and unfortunately that means we can't post copyrighted content on here, and that's what ringtones are.
Sad but true :(

I checked the request you made today and, as I thought, it's already on Louie's site. Check his signature for the address and then click on the appropriate section (QCP or AAC) and use the search feature at the bottom. I searched for "mail" and he has 4 versions of it.

I emailed 4 versions to you ...
Just an FYI, my ringer site had 39,000 downloads in the past week. If you have a problem with the site, please PM me and I'll work on getting the issue resolved ... if I can find what type of phone you're using and the ringer you're trying to download and what time you tried ... I can usually find the problem and fix it.
the ringers are free ... I wanna keep 'em that way. I do have a day job ... this is just for fun.

Hey guys, what's up? As my avatar suggest, I no longer have a Samsung A680. I now own a Sanyo MM5600 (great phone by the way). In any case, I hear that this phone is capable of playing back MP3 and AAC ringers. The problem is that I have yet to find a site that actually has these types of ringers so that I can try them out on my phone. I tried to go to Louie's site, but have had no luck. Obviously posting ringers on the site is no longer permitted, but any help will be appreciated.
LouieLouieohoh, if it's not too much trouble, PM me the link to your site if you can, as I would love to check it out. Thanks in advance.
