Sprint and Sirius have decided that Rap and Hip Hop music doesn't fit into their line up, and have removed the Hip Hop channel from the cell phone service.
If you want rap, I suggest you subscribe to: MSpot and/or Music Choice.

you can use your subscription to listen to Sirius mobile, but that is not the same thing as the Sirius package offered by Sprint...go to the sirius website and you should be able to get a free mobile account, but it is not through Sprint...I have XM Mobile and it is great, although it does not work from my phone, even with Opera, because of Java limitations...you might have better luck with Sirius mobile although not sure...Sprint's Sirius channels play through the media player, not a browser window...

If I could get Don & Mike on satellite radio, I'd subscribe. Other than that, I'm one of those people who hates music radio. I have an iPod for that.

I don't find anything on Sirius webiste about a mobile account.
And even in the post above, the reference to a mobile account with XM is followed by this statement "I have XM Mobile and it is great, although it does not work from my phone...."
So I think we are talking apples and oranges here.

It is a free full channel. It is like top 40 hits from Rock, Rap, Country. It does not cut off after each song. Keeps playing.

Will Sirus work on a Treo 650? Do voice calls go directly into voice mail while using Sirus? Thanx

I don't believe it will work on the Treo because it's set up to run through Sprint's Media Player, which the Treo does not have.
The answer to your second question is sort of. If I remember correctly, if you're using the Media Player, it will ring on the caller's end and go to voicemail but you are never notified that you have an incoming call. I don't think it goes directly to voicemail, though.

Yes I believe they are in stereo, however all but the EVDO channel, which is TOP 40, are unlistenable. I don't know if its a sirius problem and they have really lousy audio quality expcept on a few channels or if its a SPRINT problem but I certianly will not be subscribing to regular SIRIUS after hearing what I heard on my sprint Phone. It's absolutely horrible to listen too. Why anyone would pay for that is beyond me. If I was Sirius I would either be really embarrased about my product or really mad at SPRINT for making my product look bad.

I'm having trouble with ORB on my computer right now, but apparently you can throw Sirius' stream URL into ORB and listen to it that way. Well, I have XM and I assume it can work the same way with Sirius' online radio stream.
