I, too, used Futuredial SnapSync to write my Outlook contacts into my MM-9000. I had to repeatedly tell SnapSync which COM port to use (it's the one marked as Serial, not Modem) and which phone model (I told it the MM-7400). Even so, I hit a major hitch: All contacts were written with a silent ringer! I had to edit every phonebook entry manually to change it back to the default ringer.

yea i forgot to say that. but it was better than putting all of it back in ? snap media works to but you cant adjust the size of the screen.and the picture are just1" by 2" ??

Yes, but Sprint will only give you $50 for it:

You might get more on eBay.

I don't think bitpim currently supports the 9000.

Got my phone book transferred from my 5600 to my Mac using BitPim 08.08. Does anyone have a solution to move the phone book to a MM-9000?

This was a couple pages back, but the poster of the thread and myself have written to the sanyo 9000 using the method in this thread:

Does the Sprint store change phone books from older phones to new ones?

I know a Nextel store that does..

I know a Nextel store that does..

I called the Sprint store and they said they would be more than happy to move my phonebook from my 5300 to my 9000. (no mention of charges)
When I arrived, I handed them my phones and they said it would be about 20 minutes.
2 minutes later, the lady asked me if I bought my 9000 at that Sprint store. (No, Sprint stores are all out of the 9000. I got it at Fry's.)
"Do you have insurance on your phone?" (no)
"It will be a $15 charge since you didn't buy your phone here or have the insurance on your phone." (No thanks, I'll put some blisters on my thumb and save the $15 for Starbucks.) :irked:
