Using the mass storage, can you put videos on your 9000 and watch them? Like a avi or a mpeg or something?

I myself use standard, vanilla MPEG4 (.mp4), typically generated by DVD Catalyst. DVD Catalyst can convert almost any commercial DVD, legally, into a format suitable for a PocketPC, Palm, iPod, or cell phone. I myself generally convert the DVD first into 640x480 DivX format suitable for my PocketPC; then I do a video-to-video conversion into 176x144 MPEG4 format for my cell phone. (The video-to-video conversion is much faster than the DVD-to-video conversion.)
The MM-9000 does not play videos of resolution greater than 176x144; and in fact, you want to trim/pad the video to be exactly 176x144, otherwise the MM-9000 will not enlarge it to fill the screen. (For example, 176x128 plays in a mere subwindow.) I recommend against a frame rate greater than 15fps, if only because the phone probably cannot handle any faster. For the cell phone, I encode at a video data rate of 200kbps, and an audio data rate of 32kbps. More data yields a larger file and hence fewer files on a card.
I bought a 1GB miniSD card from zipzoomfly.com for $65 shipped. This holds about 5 full-length movies. The 176x144 restriction, as well as the physical screen size, yield a much more limited experience than what I can get from my Toshiba e800 PocketPC (4" screen, 640x480), but not everyone wants to carry both a cell phone and a PocketPC all the time.
