View Full Version : 7300, data cable and unknown device in XP

Using my data cable and plugging in my Sanyo 7300, it is detected by XP but listed as 'Unknown Device'. Any attemnpts made to update driver with several drivers for this cable/phone result in the message 'The specified location does not contain information about your hardware'

Really hoping someone can help me because it seems Ive searched everywhere and havent seen the same problem anywhere.

To be more helpful, we might need to know what brand/model data cable you have.. And honestly, for even faster assistance, you should probably look at that companies support site first... After all, 100% of the people reading there also have that product. But, as I said, we'd need at least some more information about your setup..

i dont know for sure what brand the cable is. the company i bought it from referred me to the datapilot site, but the software/drivers are definately rpi. the cable works and is a usb cable with no serial conversion.
