Eveeryone was 50/50 on if the 5600 battery fits the 9000. Today i just got in the mail a 5600 extended battery :) , it fits perfectly, no problems at all, i bought it because it takes me 9 hours on the greyhound to get home to Ny, so iim goin to needdd the battery. So all you 9000'ers dont be afraid to buy a 5600 battery online, it works perfectly!

This could be good news, :) I just bought a $69 battery for the 4900 at RadioShack for $10. I am going to shop for a battery for my new 9000 right now! Thanks for the information!
Hey, has anyone found out how to import phone numbers into this phone yet?
Also:
The custom standby animation is half the size as the default. Sanyo MM 9000, the screen size is 240 x 320, using Bryce 5, 3-D computer graphics software to create a 240 x 320 AVI file. Using a converter for 3GP and then rumkin.com to upload. Everything seems to work just fine but, the animation comes up as a small box in the center of the screen. (About half the size that it should be) the default animations fill the entire screen. :indiff:
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanx

It's supposed to be some other format...not AVI or 3gp, but something else that starts with a p...can't remember the exact name.
Also, bitpim doesn't work with this phone yet. The phone is too new.

It would be nice to have each manufactuer produce a universal battery. This way, if you want to upgrade your Sanyo or Samsung phone, you can keep the old battery as a spare and get a new one with your new phone.

That would be nice, but manufacturers apparently make most of their money from accessories, not the phones themselves, so they would lose out on a LOT of money if they did that. As convenient for the consumer as that would be, it still comes down to making money for the manufacturer unfortunately. *shrug*
