PLease Help ME !!!!!!!!!!! SCP-5500

Sorry if this is FWD but I need help with this Sprint SCP-5500. I got this phone about 4 months ago and really did not have any problems at all. But Seems I have been charging the phone and it tells me that its fully charged. Now I go to use the Phone Make a call and the LOW Battery Comes on and the Phone Shuts or Powers Down or Gives me the Red Battery Warning. Make a Long Story Short I bought a new Battery a LI-ION 3.6V charged it and still have the same problem. But if I let the phone sit for 2 days without using it, but have it on it says the battery is charged. Also Can not just up and get a new phone I'm a second person on my sisters contract and bought my phone second hand because Sprint wanted to give me a Piece of junk second hand user Promotion thing so I bought a Good phone who also refused to sell me one of there phones at regular price. Go figure. But if anything can anyone PLease help me with this battery problem I love this Phone !

I have the same phone and was recently having the same problem. The battery wasn't holding the charge either so I bought an extended battery thinking that was it, but the same thing kept happening. I then read that it could possibly be the pin connection at the bottom of the phone. For some reason, the connection with the pin type charger and that pin can get messed up and cause the phone to not charge properly. What you might want to try is to get a charger that connects to the port next to the pin, the charger with the "flat type" of connector. I got one and my phone now charges and stays charged. Haven't had a problem since.

It's a known issue that happened to a few friends and my 5500. Got the new charger and all better.

Ok I had gone out and did just that also picked up the flat connector to charge the battery about a month ago. Funny thing I also bought a Extended life battery along with the regular slim battery. When I bought them I never "Condtioned" the battery they way everyone tells you have to could this also add to my problem. If so I will most definate look at the battery pin as a start. Anybody Know if you can swap out display screens from an old SCP-5500 to another one with help from a tech o better yet is it possible to even do need a new screen for the phone and have a extra phone that does not work right. The good phone jut needs the display screen and wanted to have a tech take the broken phone with the good screens and swap them. DO WE HAVE THE TECHNOLGY !!!!!!
