I have an A900 and a Plantronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headset.

They typically work well, but sometimes the headset will issue a ring when there is no incoming call, or start ringing DURING a call. This typically won't stop until I restart the phone.

Is anyone else having odd issues like this? It seems like Samsung's Bluetooth functionality is pretty broken.

Maybe a900 does not play well with Plantronics? Moto and Nokia don't. I think it is the headset not the phone. *shrug*

Do you have a Plantronics headset also?

It would really suck if I have to take this thing back... so far it is the only headset I've found where people can't tell I'm driving the car. Noise cancellation is excellent.

Of course, all the noise cancellation in the world won't stop me from returning this headset if I have to.

Deval, if you have a Plantronics headset, have you tried contacting Plantronics? Their support was very good even though they had not heard of this issue. Maybe if they get a few calls they might be able to do something about it (at least in future versions of the headset).

I use the Discovery 640, and have had no issues with what you mention. First headset for me, so I don't have much experience... but its working well so far!
