What kind of click? As in does the flip click when you open/close it?

If that is what you mean, then I don't think so. The flip on this phone is of a pretty solid design.

I think there is only one negative to this phone: it doesn't support bluetooth. I personally don't really care for bluetooth (bluetooth peripherals are expensive and somewhat bulky.) Other than that, this phone is flawless.

thank you all for ur replies!! i am getting my 9000 BY monday! sprint just started DIRECT SHIPPING, so.. they did it for me! heres my story from yesterday, ill copy and paste it from the other thread i made...

3 days ago i went to my sprint store expectin to by the 9000, they didnt have it tho.. so me,being impatient, bought the 8300, which was the biggest mistake of my LIFE... i had the 8200, so for my to pay 300 dollars for NOTHING, was worthless.. the only diffrence was, i liked how the 8300 doesnt have that annoying click that the 8200 does have.. so basically, yesterday i called a couple spirnt stores and this one store said they could direct ship me the 9000.. great! so i go all the way there, TOOK 3 HOURS TO GET THERE WALKING IN THE FREEZING COLD...and on top of that, trying to find a place to cash my money order.. and i called the store and speak wit the same rep, and he said everythings allset just go.. so i go there and i give him back the 8300 expecting to get the 9000 in a few days.. and he starts lookin at the comp screen and all of a sudden, gets this bad look on his face. immediatly i panic.. so, he walks ova to his assistant manger, there talking and looking at me.. so as there talking, i go over to a couple who are debating on phones, and yes, I SOLD them the 8300 hahah... everyone was lilke omg u should work for sprint!!! i tell u, eeeeeeeeverytime i go into that store i SELL A PHONE! but anyways lol... so i walk ova to them and he tells me, sorry i didnt know that i need the skew number BEFORE i enter into the comp and we dont have it here.. so the manager said, im gonna try calling some other stores to see if they can send me a phone here.. but the store has to have at LEAST 6 before they can ask.. nothing was comming threw.. so i started gettin so sad.. and all of a sudden, she goes, here.. this is my card and # ,i just emailed a guy who has a few at his store if he calls back, ill call u and let u know.. so at that point i knew i wasnt getting it.. especially afta she had told me they only had 12,000 or so models of it... so, i go all the way home and outta curiousity i call another sprint store, and the kid who answered said they had the 9000! i rrrrush alll the way down there to find out, since he was arab he was sayin 900 NOT 9000.. errrr!!!!!!!!!! so he trys selling me the a920 and 940 and the new sanyo 7500... i sat there for 3 hours NO LIE weighin out the pros and cons of each phones...mind u, up till this point i HATED samsung phones... i am A SANYO user! but this phone almost had me sold.. he told me that to make a wise desicion cause once u buy a phone, u can only return it ONCE even within ur trial period..does anyone kno how true this is, cause this guy oviously had no klu wut he was talking about..he told me u can record 100 HOURS on the camcorder and 500 full songs on the phone, seems a little odd to me..it just didnt sound rite... can anyone confirm this.. and he did say it was with the card it came with, so before anyone assumes he meant a new card, nope... he said with the new card, 1 gig, or mb or somethin, i can get 1 THOUSAND songs!!!!!! anyways, i liked this phone alot.. u can customize it ALOT, wen u dial u can make it so ur numbers come out in rainbo, or other colors, u can make it so ur menu has the picture U WANT on it, its a real nice phone if u like samsung, the camera to be honest, wasnt that clear at all, and i used it in DAYLITE.. it was blurry and dim.. i donno so as im ready to buy the a920.. i say give me my 8300 i wnana check my messages THANK GOD I DID!!!!! the girl from the other sprint store called me and said UR PHONE WILL BE HERE BY MONDAY!!!!!!! AHHHHH... THANK GOD, i decided to call or else, i woulda hadda pay an additional 400 dollars just to get the phon i originally wanted..I SWERE, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.buuuuuuuut i would recommend this phone to anyone, its reaaaaally nice.. just not for me.. it doesnt have reaady link, so i donno if that is nessasary to some people, to me it is, even tho i dont use it, lol i just like knowin i have the option.. u kno? anyways, sorri this was so long.. if anyone has questions on the NEW sanyo 7500 that just came out TODAY and the a940 that JUST CAME OUT TODAY and the a920 thats been out for 6 weeks, PM ME .. believe me, i had 3 hours with all these phones and made a list the size of my body on pros and cons lol.. i have EVERY dcetail of these phones..... btw, i dont like the 7500 too much, its short and fat.. it looks weird and the front lcd is short and WIDE..its horrible.. id onno, I LUV 9000!!! =) anyone wit questions, u can pm me if u want =)

I just bought both phones this week the MM-8300 and the MM-9000 they are both great! Small, comfortable, easy-to-use. The features on the 9000 are just what I was looking for. I have already downloaded pictures, MP3s and movies into the phone with no problems. (Although I am still trying to find out how to transfer my contacts and ringers into this phone) (does anyone have any ideas?) the picture and camcorder quality are better than you might expect from a telephone and the last time I used the camcorder it said that I had 4 hours and 10 minutes of recording remaining. (And that is with a 512 MB card.)
Phone scoop.com has good information on the features of these phones.

I think it is worth $400, but I am poor and don't like to spend more than $200 on a phone. Thus I was able to work my way into paying only $160 for this phone after all of the $150 rebate and an extra $80 worth of misc discounts that I had to spend well over two hours and a lot of smooth talking to get.

Some people were able to get this phone completely free with a special through pcspromotions.com two days ago.

Well, Happy B-day then :D

You'll be quite impressed with this phone. Every other day I am finding something new that this phone does. I am not sure if other phones do this, but last night I was playing around with using the voice dial feature, and was able to whisper the commands from about two feet away from the phone and it was able to recognize what I was saying

I've never really kept up with voice recognition technology, and I never noticed how good it has gotten over the years. Sometimes I watch people sitting there with their phones yelling into the thing looking like idiots when the phone doesn't respond to what they are saying. This phone won't put you through that :D

Surely you aren't saying the 9000 is small... :)

While it isn't the smallest phone in the world, it is actually quite light for its size.

yeah the 7500 is pretty much an upgraded 8300, but the camera is better

When I showed my MM-9000 to some friends, their comments left me crestfallen. They were unimpressed by all its amazing capabilities, and instead simply insulted its allegedly elephantine size--even though I compared it against an MM-8300 to show that the 9000 isn't that big.

I guess they just aren't gadgeteers like me. For them, size does matter.

Since it comes with On Demand 1.0, you can upgrade to On Demand 1.1 (available on an Internet site), and then for $3/mo, your phone can act as a credible GPS.

The Map capability of On Demand is only $1.49/mo, but that can only show a map of, or route to or from, your current location or a typed address. For another $1.49/mo, the Directory capability can look up residence or business addresses and phone numbers, then dial, map, or route.

Applications like Garmin Mobile and TeleNav do a better, more polished job of all this, but cost $9.99/mo.

On Demand 1.0 does not work properly on the MM-9000--it only finds your cell site, not you. On Demand 1.2 does not work at all, ironically. Version 1.1 is golden.

Yeah, I agree with AlphaWolf. They're just jealous that you have a kick-ass phone and they don't!! After finally playing with the phone at my local Sprint Store, it totally blew me away!! I'm SO gonna get that phone next month. It has practically everything you could want in a phone. I mean really, what's not to love about the 9000?
