Weird web and email error...

I searched a bit for this, but didn't find any other posts similar.

For the last two weeks, I have been receiving the following error when trying to access the web or email from my T608;

Not Found
The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has been instructed not to let you have it.

Up until two weeks ago, the phone was working fine. I have contacted Sprint several times over the last week, and they have performed software updates and re-provisioned the phone three or four times. I have even taken the phone into a Sprint store and was told that there is nothing wrong with the phone, it's an issue with the network. One technician even stated that they received the same error on the T608 in their department. Three tickets have been written, but no one has contacted me or resolved the issue.

I'm just a bit curious whether anyone else has experienced this issue or knows anything about it. Any input would be appreciated. :dazed:

Well, after calling and re-calling Sprint tech, it appears that this issue may be affecting all T608 phones. Two different technicians tried their T608s and had the same error. Level 2 tech support alluded to this issue possibly being caused from the network upgrade that was made a few weeks ago.

Vlad, I'm in the Balto-Washington D.C. area and have had the same experince with my T608 that you described. My problems started about a month ago and I haven't been been able to access email nor the web since. I've been to three sprint stores all of which told me that they no longer had the software to upgrade the T608. Sprint did attempt over the air software updates at least three times but each attempt failed. Two tickets remain open but I have never been contacted. Don't know what to do next, Sprint doesn't seem to know what to do except suggest I PURCHASE a new phone!
Please let me know if you find out anything or get a solution to the problem.

I've been having the same problem since about early to mid December with my T608. Sprint (both *2 and local stores) have been clueless. Good to know I'm not the only person having this issue. At least Opera Mini still works, even if it doesn't let you use the T9 input.
