I have the PCS Vision Pictures Pack on my primary line which includes 100 txt msgs for $10/mo. My son's AAP line has the same option for $5/mo. I wanted to add the same option to my wife's line but Sprint says it will cost $5 for vision and $5 for txt msgs. Is this correct? I know times have changed but I thought AAP charges were supposed to be half the main line charges.

Well, I don't think Sprint has that Pictures Pack anymore, so you won't be able to get that. I would think it would be $5 for Vision and $2.50 for 100 SMS, but because your first line doesn't have a separate SMS plan (i.e., it's included with the Pictures Pack), maybe that's why you were told $5? You could always call back and talk to someone else and see if they say something different. Generally, every Sprint rep has a different explanation.

Sub-lines 2-5 are charged half price for add-ons like Vision and SMS, so SMS on your wife's line should be $2.50.

I added a third line to an account. Now none of the lines have text messaging or vision, and on teh third line they still gave me half price on Power Vision 7.50 and half price on Unlimited Text 7.50. So yeah it does depend on the rep you talk to.

Last nite Sprint told me that my wife's line has the Pictures Pack on it but no vision or text msgs. The rep tried to add the old code to allow vison and text for $5 but it wouln't take. He said if I wanted to add vision it would be $5 and 100 text msgs would be $5for a total of $10/mo. I shud have added it 3 months ago when I could get it for $5/mo.

I had a similar issue. I have the old $15 Professional Pack, which includes unlimited SMS, Vision and Picture Mail. Back when I got this pack, it was $5 on the subs and they essentially got whatever the primary line had as far as data/text services. So, I asked when I got to the store (it was a Sprint Kiosk run by Radio Shack) and they called Sprint and the rep told them that a) I could keep the Vision pack on the main line and b) It would be $5 to share it.
So, then they call to activate the phone and after 45 minutes on the phone with the rep (that's how long it took her to do a plan change from retention to F&F, upgrade one line and activate the third line), she tells me that the third line has no Vision pack (I heard the kiosk employee tell her to add it). She then says (in a rather unprofessional, ignorant way) that it would be $7.50 for Vision and $7.50 for SMS. So, I told her I didn't have time to deal with that then and I would call CS later. Her last sentence was (spelling edited to reflect her pronunciation), "Cuxtomer Service cain' help you with dis here. The plans is changed."
At any rate, I called CS later and told them they had two choices: one was to honor the original rep's statement about $5 Vision with UL SMS on the sub (upon which I made my decision) -- or I was going right back to the mall to return the phone and cancel the line.
Magically, she found the code for $5 Picture Pack with Vision and UL SMS (it shows online, too).

After about 5 failed times trying to add the $5 vision/pic pack to my wife's phone I struck pay dirt. The rep I got last nite was able to look up the code and apply it to my account. Now I have $10 vision/unlimited picture and video mail/100 txt msgs on my line and the other 2 aap lines get it for $5/mo each.
