HTTP: 500 internal server error

This error code comes up every time I try to open the Web from my menu. The only way I can get to the Web is to open Downloads, and then open Content Manager which links Sprint Home, I have read the description of the code (The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. ) but I don't know how to translate this into a solution, and I've searched these forums and found no answers. Power cycling, resetting, and replacing batteries have not resolved this problem. Has anyone encountered this and found a solution?

Hmmm... Have you tried updating your Vision profile? Probably a shot in the dark, one that most likely won't solve your problem, but it's one more thing to cross of the list.

I did try that as well Luars, and to no avail. I guess it's time put Qwest to the test on a technical issue. My boots could use a shine anyway.

Today I was fooling around and found some more options that led me to the cause of my HTTP 500 internal server error, that I got when I tried to boot the Web through the main menu. It turns out that I had foolishly set my Home Page to a 'transient' type of web page, that being a page that displayed the current weather, (last weeks weather actually, lol). I wish it was still last weeks weather, but anyway, after I reset my Home Page to Sprint Home, things returned to normal. BTW, FYI, this error code is a common generic code that could be caused by a myriad of different things that are not set properly, and if you see it on your home computer, you can go to Options and disable "friendly error codes" and it will then display the specific nitty-gritty numbers that nobody can make sense of anyway. So I'm glad that it wasn't my newborn baby LG535 showing it's ugly side yet anyway.
