Ok so I activated my new A900 today and I told them not to change my plan. He told me I'd be charged for casual use EVDO vision, but I have grandfathered vision. So about 4 hours after using my phone I call back to check my usage and the rep said I had used $21 worth of vision today alone. I asked him to repeat if that wsa all from today and he said yes. Now my phone wasn't tethered I checked a few sites and I didn't purchase any contact. I think the rep was trying to scare me to get outta my gf'd vision plan so they can screw me with the new one. I'll wait to hear how many casual usage charges i have tomorrow.

if you used the EV-DO network then that would be understandable that you could rack up that kinda charge, but if you used the plain ol 1xRTT network then I would think you wouldnt' be charged at all... did you use the 1xRTT network or EV-DO?

You shouldnt have been charged he must have changed something on your plan because I have grandfathered vision on my power vision phone and I am not charged.

Well I found out the dude that activated my phone took off my GF'd vision and my 5.00 Unlimited Text. But I saved them, not by calling Customer support cuz phone support couldn't put the codes back in. I emailed Sprint support and they put my GF'd vision back on and my 5.00 text messaging, and also reversed all the vision charged which came out to $44 by the time they saw my account. And yes I was on EVDO but I didn't even visit thta many sites, isn't it by the KB?

it goes by .02/kb for casual usage. if you have grandfathered vision then your ev-do usage will (should) get charged. theres a specific plan code we have to add on that covers your casual usage on ev-do, and it only comes with the power vision packs.
