Ok bitpim recognizes the port my phone is attatched to under "Ports Not Availebel" and says availebel False.
It says the phone name and everything.
In windows Device Manager, under the phone, which is listed as a model as it should be, it gives the following error. "Code 10: Device cannot start".
I'm using the latest version of BitPim and the latest USB drivers from the Sanyo site, what's up here?
I've heard this phone has A LOT of problems, and sprint banned the data cables from it's stores because people were getting free internet with the phones.
*** is the deal, all I want is to transfer my cool photos off the phone, and change my ring tone, to "Get Back" by Ludacris.
and not have to FRIGGIN pay 15$ a MONTH for the data scervice, and 5$ for a ring tone I could compose better myself.
That's 180$ a YEAR, for 100mb of webspace, I pay 40$ a year currently for 333mb and 10gb tranfer.
Call me crazy but paying four times more for for less than a third the scervice is called being a ridiculously ****TY company in my book.
Anyway, let's see if sprint can redeem itself, by having their phone work... I guess the words Plug and Play just never crossed the minds of the execs.
