Hi everyone!!
I just got my new sprint phone! I used to have the nextel motorola i730 phone. Now I have the Samsung A840. So far I LOVE IT! However, when I download ringers, the volume is so low. I can't even hear it when I'm in the car! Any help!?
Nice to "meet" you all!!

Hello :wavey: Welcome to Sprint Users!
Other than adjusting the volume of your ringer settings there is not much you can do. Some ringers are just not as loud as others...I've run into the same problem before.

Do a Google search for a program called Audacity. It's free and it's what most people use. Nero also has a program people use as well. Both give you a lot more control over your audio than many of the other programs out there.
Some users you might want to contact for more in-depth help are donblay, Glenny7467 & LouieLouieohoh.

I usually turn my knob to the right ... :) ... (sorry, couldn't help myself).
Actually, audacity does have "effect", "amplify" that works perfect for cranking them up ... By the way ... are my ringers loud enough? ... feedback welcomed and appreciated.

Actually i have the same phone and the same problem. i think it might be some defect with the phone. No matter how much i increase the volume when i'm making the ringers, they still sound low when i send them to my phone. The ringers i bought from sprint also sound low.

Most audio software such as Nero Wave Editor and such have a normalize or gain feature. Boosting these settings will increase the over-all volume of the music. Try different levels and listen to the music after each adjustment. Boosting the values too high often causes clipping which makes your music sound distorted and crappy. Ever turned your headphones or stereo up so high the music sounds like garbage? That's the same effect when you boost normals or gain too high.
