View Full Version : My transflash can not be formatted...

I have an a940 and I believe that I have a bad card. I know how to format the card in the phone and I just get a RM04 error. I've tried to access it through my computer using 2 different card readers and it just states that Windows is Unable to Complete the Format. If I do have a bad card, can I do anything about it? I just got the phone and would like to be able to use the card. Thanks.

I'd see if the store can order you a replacement one, if that's where you got it.

They will have to replace the entire phone. I had the same problem with my card, and there are LOTS of people having problems with the cards that are shipped with the phones. Sprint won't replace just the card. You have to return the entire phone and the contents of the box. Or so I was told by three different people.
