Ok... :eyeroll: now this is getting annoying... it seems to happen to me quite often. I send an SMS, and I get a reply back from someone 15-20 min later. (Has happened with ALL other carriers including sprint-sprint SMS) then 15 minutes or so later I get the exact same SMS again with a new time. This sometimes happens 3-4 times. A few times it has happened up to 2 days later.
I never know if the person is trying to send me other txt's and they were sent wrong, or if it was a network error... Sometimes the frequency/time sent of the duplicates seems to indicate a response, and continued req for response.. ie; so do you want to later? 15 min... well!?! .. 25 min.. FU then!
Has anyone else seen this or is this a known issue?!? :frustrate

So, nobody has ever received a duplicate SMS before??

Sorry no one has answered you till now. Generally its just the system not confirming the reply was sent so it punches it out on the system again. Do you know if your being over charged for replies?
If its just an "annoyance" issue, you will probably need to call sprint from another phone and ask for technical issues, and then vision support to have a tech see if they may be a setting thats incorrect in your account. The same would be true on a "paid issue, but also the duplicate messages being credited back!
hope that helps

I sometimes get duplicate messages as well.

I get them too... only difference is they still have the same time as the original message.
Funny I've been meaning to make a thread about this for some time now!
