I just got this phone a few days ago and so far have not had any major issues with it. Below are my initial impressions of the phone:

Screen: Excellent! I like how you can adjust the brightness level. It is very clear and crisp. The external screen is also nice. I like how the time is CLEARLY displayed - makes it very easy to read. I also like how the day of the week is highlighted.

Sound (http:///): The ringers sound very clear, however, the speaker (http:///) does not seem quite as good as it could be (I often hear crackling, etc.). The earpiece speaker is fair. It seems like Samsung (http:///) got rid of the noise canceling problems that some of their other phones (http:///) had, or they fixed it. I only say it’s fair because it sound a little "tinny". Better than Sanyo earpiece speakers IMO. Good volume also.

Size/Weight: Obviously very light. It’s a tad bigger than other phones in terms of shape, but I like it. No bigger than the Moto Razor. Might be a hair heavier than the razor, but not sure. I like the high quality plastic that makes up most of the phone and the metal battery cover.

Battery Life: It would seem that since the battery is so small and thin that it wouldn't last very long. Over the past two days, I've talked on the phone a lot as well as used Power Vision on and off. At the end of each day I had one bar left. I'd say the battery life (http:///) is average. If you use vision a LOT, it will not last a whole day.

Camera (http:///): The camera quality is good. All the standard features are there. The 1.3 mega pixel pictures are comparable to other similar phones. Since the phone has NO external storage (http:///) capabilities, I would recommend taking pictures (http:///) in 640x480 if you plan on leaving them on your phone - you really can't tell the difference when viewing them on the phone's screen. Use the built-in file manager to transfer pictures to your computer (USB cable included).

Bluetooth (http:///): The only thing I've used Bluetooth for on this phone so far is my Jabra BT250v headset (http:///). Pairing it was no problem. The headset works ok with the phone, but I do have some issues every so often with static. I usually leave the phone right in my pants pocket while using the headset. My previous phone was the PPC 6700 and I had NO static issues at all. I’m guessing it’s due to the placement of the Bluetooth receiver on the phone… not sure though.

Keypad / Buttons: The keypad is great! I like how responsive it is. The 4 way navigation pad seems a little small, sometimes I hit a button next to it by mistake – and my fingers are quite small. The other side buttons work well. The volume button is a little hard to reach with one hand while talking, but it seems like where they placed it was the only place.

Misc: I absolutely hate where the charging/data port is. It’s on the side of the phone where the volume buttons are normally placed. This is because the entire bottom of the phone is actually the antenna. I don’t like the placement because it’s extremely awkward to plug in the charger – especially with the port cover. The cover comes out a little and you can move it out of the way, but it’s still somewhat in the way. The only way it can be moved to allow the charger to be plugged in, is towards the back of the phone. This means that I have to set the phone down on its front when it’s charging because the port cover sticks out on the back. I really don’t want to rip off the port cover either.

My Overall Rating: 8/10

Forgot to mention, the reception is awesome. I have not had any dropped calls yet and always have at least two bars - even in my basement. Seems like an improvement from past models.

I'm revising the battery life section of my review:

It's horrible. Will NOT last an entire day with average (and sometimes less than average) use.
