One problem though Glenny, and hey I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, but I happen to be of the Baby Boomer generation and even though the name Bedroom Boom certainly sounds like it would fit my style, I have utterly NO taste for HipHop or Rap, so I was wondering if I could exchange this ringtone for something more along the lines of ABBA or Meatloaf, if it's not that much trouble.:)

I pm'd ya the addy remy! Also folks... We had some confusion on the A900(Blade) being that we just now got our test model. The ringtones are a little tricky for this phone. They really need some juice to be heard at high volume levels through their speakers. So any Blade users holler back for a promo ringtone thats extra loud!

just listened to the clear ones, theyre loud enough, i cant imagine what the really extreme loud ones are gonna sound like. will continued use of these blow out my cell's speakers?

the loud link overwrote one of the two clear links from b4. sounded exactly the same.

Speaker blow is not possible for the recommended levels for each phone. The ringtones are filtered in a way to take out speaker harming tones and supercharge the non/harming tones. The different levels for each phone mainly help distortion rates go down speaker to speaker. For example the Blade needs a more juiced up ringtone than the 5600, even though the speaker is more quite!

ENJOY!!! keep ringn' loud!

***PS***

In certain instances, for particular ringtones, it can be hard to tell the difference between clear and extra loud. Both are clear with out distortion... The 'Extra Loud' can just be heard better in noisy situations. But the initial shock of both ringtone levels is DAMN! Much louder than stock ringtones...

Forgive me, but if it was that simple, I wouldn't have asked how to do it. I already deleted the ringtone, the folder is still on my phone, showing both On Demand and Sprint Music Store as well as "Get new GS Tones"

I have not encountered this problem with the blade, although the firmware can be very 'buggy' to say the least. First of all if you haven't already try updating the firmware. Second, try power cycling the phone. Remember this is just a .gcd you are downloading that points to a file, and puts it in a folder... In no way does this make or change any settings to your software or menu settings. Try the above, and also try redownloading/redeleting the file. PM me with anymore details. ;)

You can't assign ringtones from the TF card. You can try sending the MP3 ringtone to yourself with an uploader and see if it will work. It's hit or miss, I think... it at least works on some 900's.

You'll want to trim them down to 30-seconds or less first, as anything longer than that is pointless since your phone only rings for 30 seconds, give or take.

Well Ron, I can't tell you our exact formula ;) But there are many threads on this forum that give you exact steps in how to make good quality/loud ringtones yourself. The best advice I can give you or anybody else is to be consistent. Whatever steps/programs/settings you find and like make sure to remember your process. That way when you create your own they can be consistant with one another. There are several programs talked about on this forum to help you create your own ringtones. Its all about finding the right programs and settings for what you want and like. Enjoy and Merry Christmas to all!

for some reason when i try to logg on to the site my AOL shuts down..i tried 3x and each time i log on to your site, my AOL shuts down and tell me it has incurred a error..

I'll give one a try, A900, loud enough to hear in my pocket. I have a CTU ringtone(from the show 24) and it is not loud enough on the A900 for me to use. Do you have this ringtone by chance?

*All but the nextel i870 ringtones have been sent, our products are not compatible with this model since they cannot be sent via sms. There are ways to make/download ringtones to your phones but you must use a usb cable to transfer. Tutorials and hints on this procedure can be best found by google searching or try howard forums.

Raiderkb, although I do not offer anything but .m4a capable ringers you can rename mp3's to midi's and get them to work!

Remember folks, our project is geared towards sprint multimedia phones... If they are not .m4a capable search this forum for instructions or free sites or go to the sticky ringtone request section at the top of this board.
