I though I would review my 7400.
Summary: Great phone, I had a 8100, then a 8200 and now the 7400. This is a great phone. It feels a lot more solid than any other phone I have had. I can drop it and not worry that it is going to break into a million pieces.
Camera: The camera is ok. I don't really take to many pictures it is a bit grainy. It serves the purpose for taking pictures in a pinch. I know there are phones with better camera, but oh well.
Screens: The screens are very clear. The main screen is big and bright I like it. I can read fonts clearly and pictures/screen savers (both taken and downloaded) can be seen clearly and detailed.
Overall UI: Seems like most Sanyo phones, but a little more refined. I like it. Sanyo seems to be on top of making it simple.
Physical Appearance: This is a great looking phone. It has a detachable faceplate that covers just enough of the phone so the face plate isn't the entire phone, which would be a pain, because I think sometimes they sacrifice integrity of the phone. It is a little bigger than the 8100 and 8200's but it is compact enough.
Earpiece: Very loud and very clear. No complaints. I like the earpiece I never have any problems hearing anybody. I actually keep the volume turned about 25% up.
Speakerphone: Good speaker for when I use ready link, but I am not a fan of speaker phones, I hate when people put me on them and I don't like putting people on them unless need be. For ready link its clear and loud.
Video Camera: Its ok. It is grainy as well. It is good, but I am not looking for a full on camcorder. It seems to serve the purpose.
What was left out: A MP3 player with removable SD card.. That would make this phone perfect for me, but oh well can't win them all. :)
