I have been reading reviews and reading how people complain about the pic quality of this phone bla bla bla! What it boils down to is can it make calls when needed? Everything else is the fun stuff! My background, I have spent over 10 years in the telecom industry from sales to implimentation, to tier 3 tech support. Phones I have used southwestern bell mobile phone installed in car my first phone in 1988 or 89. Then I moved to Sprint in I think 97 went with some brick phone, then I had a star tak don't remember which one, then sanyo 5000, 5150, 8100, 5500, 8200, 7400, 5600. Samsung n400, vga 1000, n460, a700, 680, a800, a880, a940. LG 325, 535 a couple more that I can't remember. Toshiba 4050. Enough of that!

What it boils down too. What kind of phone is this, quality, workmanship, and so on.
the build of this phone is awesome. Feels great not cheap feeling (sanyo 9000) when i'm holding it in my hand it feels like I am not holding a toy which I for one do like. Workmanship of this phone is superior to any phone I have used thus far. Quality I believe we have covered that very well put together from head to toe. As far as the phone part is concerned it's the best yet. Ear piece sound clarity is far better than anything to date in Sprint's lineup. All services voice and so one work flawlessly. The keypad is perfect I love the menus and the ability to customize just about every aspect of this phone. Best thing about this phone has been reception, one thing I can't stand is living in KC where Sprint is headquartered and have trouble getting a signal. Not with this phone, going on 3 weeks not one dropped call or signal loss.

Fun stuff!

This is the part I get to praise samsung and sprint for all the neat features this phone has.
Beautiful screens inside and out. For a not having a QVGA screen this phone's internal screen is just wonderful. Nice colors and wallpapers fill up the entire screen you have to love that! The camera, well although this isn't the a800 the a940 takes just as good of pics but the only thing you have to be patient and learn the camera, meaning you have to take lots of pics and play around with it. I did and I think some of the best pics I have taken yet have come from this phone. Sure you might get blurry pics from time to time but you can't tell me you wouldn't get the same thing from a 35mm or regular dig camera. We wouldn't have to sit still during portraits if that was the case. Power vision, wow I love it, I didn't want to give up all my free stuff but once I tried the power vision I was sold I had to have it so I now have a power vision plan with 6 free tv stations talk about awesome. I sit at work now and people freak out because I am watching the NFL Network Live at work from my phone. The speed is unblievable pages load so fast now, no more waiting and waiting. I truly love everything about this phone except for one thing, just one thing bugs me and that's the battery life. I have improvised though on this I now have my desktop charger at work and home I have a regular charger so I have no excuse for losing all my battery life. Speaking of life, it sure is good with my new a940. I know you will think the way I do once you make your purchase.

My score is 8.5 out of 10 I count 1.5 for the battery.
