I received a text message from Sprint today that read

Important notice from Sprint: This is an important E911 software update. Click this link www.palm.com/sprint650update to perform download immediately.

Now I dont have the TREO anymore so please do this at your own risk.

The update so far has been painless from what I've read elsewhere. It has been available for over a week I believe.

Honestly I miss the texting and Directory Assistance app from the Treo. I didnt use my Treo as a PDA and since I am forced to carry a Blackberry from Comcast 24/7, I am happy with my a940. If the blade turns out to be the great phone it is shaping up to be...that will be the only reason I will sell the a940...I might keep both phones and trade off.... :) I do like the a940 no regrets so far!!!

I just got rid of my treo a few days ago but I'm going to pas this on to my girlfriend who inherited my treo
