Has anyone ever taken a Moto Tri-Mode Verizon phone and successfully "moved" it to Sprint PCS? I've come over recently from Verizon and I'm so used to the speakerphone quality of the Moto phones. I've been disappointed by the half-duplex Sanyo's, the tinniness (wow- I have not idea how to spell that) of the Sammy's etc. I'm using the LG PM-225 which is ok, but it has some strange qwerks too.

I have a V65P that's a Tri-Mode. The SPCS phone rep said I could "try" to take it into the store and have it "converted", but I have my doubts because they'd have to flash the SPCS software into the phone. Any comments would be appreciated.

nope. the computers know which phones were made by sprint, and will only allow you to use those. there is absolutely no way to use another company's phone on sprint

nope, because the ESN (serial number) of the phone wont be recognized in the system, so they wont activate it
