When will exchange email push be available for the 6700? We have to wait for a MS-update to outlook or something right?

What will be available with push? just emails or company contact and schedules too?

The existing version appears to support exchange email.

I did see two offers for third party push services (one of them was http://www.goodlink.com) . Fortunately our company uses a POP3 based solution so did not have to go with one of those.

There's also an app available from MS that connects to the Global Access list of your exchange server for emailing purposes - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/global/smartphone.mspx

FYI as well, the Microsoft Exchange 2003 SP2 (http://tinyurl.com/boma6) includes a multitude of features centering around mobile users. However, even if your companies IT group has installed this service pack, note this:

Most mobile e-mail improvements, with the exception of support for tasks and for pictures in contacts lists, require that your device or the software on the devices be compatible with Exchange Server 2003 SP2. Windows Mobile–based devices require the Messaging and Security Feature Pack for Windows Mobile 5.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/business/5/default.mspx). Listed availability is "sometime early next calendar year".

http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/evaluation/features/owa_mobile.mspx has more information on the coming features for Exchange. It seems that Microsoft is making a concerted move towards leveraging the mobile user base (finally).

Anyway all of that is not much but hope it helps.

I am currently getting all my Email pushed to my PPC-6700 with no issues whatsoever.

The features you are looking for are currently available, but is a function of the Exchange Server itself. Exchange Server 2003 SP2 is necessary to get functionality. If your Exchange Administrator has installed SP2 he needs to enable push features and your account to take advantage of these services.

Hope this helps,
