Is the 7500 replacing the 7400 and if so what is so different about the 7500 over the 7400? What says to you "I have to own this phone"?

They look very similiar. Seems a extended battery is needed when the handset is purchased.

For me, I am hopefully going to get it since my 7400 is still under the MFR's warranty and Sprint had offerred to replace it (cracked hinge)... I've already received approval to have it replaced and I just want to get the next phone.. I wouldn't mind another 7400 since I'll be moving to a place that does not have Ev-DO (darn affiliates!) The 1.3 MP camera on the 7500 doesn't hurt though... :D

My only possibly complaint is that the picture I've seen of it makes the main screen look smaller on there than the 7400!

I was able to check this phone out last night and you're right, the screen is a little bit smaller than the 7400 but that is only because it is slightly smaller than the 7400 in overall size. Other than that, seemed like a pretty cool phone.

Good luck getting a 7400, they are no longer in production, you might be able to get a used one through the replacement program, or if a store still has them. Good Luck

Ok. about the 7500 it's a lot smaller the screen mean like the 8300 or you won't notice the difference, also it's gonna be ev-do and 1.3 camera and you need ext. battery like they said or they talking about the 9000, please give me more inf. about the 7500 , key pad is blue or they went back to green. if you have the inf. about the resolution and screen size we would appreciate thanks
