Anyone found USB drivers that work for the 9000 yet? I didn't have any luck with any of the drivers I have tried so far...

Me either, I would have thought someone by now would have something. The Sprint store transferred my 110 contacts over to the 9000 and my fingers are greatfull.

you are lucky...I took my 9000 into the idiots at the Sprint store in NYC about a week ago and they held my phone for 5 hours before telling me they couldn't do it...what a crock...

I bought it from Telesales...I have an old plan and you will have a hard time getting one of the new phones from a store without strings attached...I refuse to change my plan, which includes free vision/sms/RL/pics on all 3 of my lines...as of now :fingers: it also includes free EVDO on my new 9000...I was not told about any free promotional period nor were any codes added to my account to make EVDO work, so I'm crossing my fingers I still have it in a month...

Does telesales honor instant rebates or just sprint stores?

I'm assuming the "idiots at the sprint store" tried to fool the computer into thinking your phone was a 5600 or a 7400 (if they have pst or datapilot as neither have a software update for the 9000 yet). Tonight I spent half an hour trying to trick a computer into thinking a 4930 is a 4920 to transfer phone book. Its not like we look at the phone and say "der...maybe if we crack it open the numbers come out." I'm sure they tried everything that would not fry your phone, but if all they got was ingratitude I wish they would have...

You either have the software for the 9000 or you don't...I SPECIFICALLY asked this before leaving my phone so I could avoid wasting 6 hours...trying to fool the computer into thinking it was a 5600 or a 7400 if the internal software has changed could very well fry my phone so I'm glad they were not able to if that's what they attempted...and I did not give them any ingratitude so don't put words in my mouth...I vented my frustration on these forums, which is what they are for...they purpose of my post was so that nobody else in NYC wastes there time at the store trying to get a phonebook transferred to the 9000...I'd say you're the one with the attitude problem defending reps you don't even know who could actually be complete idiots...or is everybody at Sprint perfectly well trained and capable of doing their job? Because if you think that, you're the only person on these forums who thinks so...
You can also download these from sprint site.

Unfortunately, Sprint bundles the Sanyo driver tightly with PCS Connection Manager. The latter hosed up my laptop pretty badly--I'm still trying to get it back to normal. (No, I can't use System Restore, because Connection Manager somehow goofed that up too.)
Connection Manager actually did install OK on my desktop computer--but that's not where I need mobile access.

Sherry, do you know if the software on ringer post will swap phone books from a Smart device to the 9000? The Sprint store said that their phone book swapping software didn't have the capability. Thanks,

Is anyone aware of a file conversion software that will allow you to download your own ringers to the Sanyo 9000? Thx

Yes, how can we download ringers to Sanyo 9000. I am also still trying to download a couple of hundred phone numbers to the phones safely. I have already installed the USB drivers from sprint.com but, I am still unsure on which software can be used safely on the telephone. I have future dial/snap sink software that work just fine on the new 8300 (after the software was updated) but the software does not support the new Sanyo MM-9000 yet. Some threads have recommended telling future dial that it is a 5700, other thread say to use the software from "Ringer post.com" and still other threads say to use the focus software found on this web site and download the ringers through vision.
Does anyone have any ideas?
