OK, After just having the phone for about 5 hours. I ordered the phone on monday though bus. cust service, I received it on wed.
BATTERY - Seems that the battery charges fast, really don't know why it does but it does.
SIZE - I would say a little on the big side. The only thing that makes it big it the big camera.
STATUS LIGHT - The phone has a status light, I love this feature. it only stays one color(green).
BLUETOOTH - YES! I was able to pair with my IMAC and moto headset. The bluetooth icon is always on the main screen if you choose always visible. I did tether my imac and the a940 as a modem. The speeds were ok, I think its b/c of the bluetooth. I was able to connect to the internet and use it for web browsering.
CAMERA PICTURE QA- TAKES GOOD PICTURES, you have to make sure and hold the phone very still. From seeing the A800's pictures, I think that the a800 still take better pictures. There seems to be a software problem also, when you turn on the auto focus, you have to use the blue ok menu button to take the picture the side picture button no longer works. There is a lot of different settings in the camera that can be adjusted. Res,qly, frames
CAMCORDER - Seems to stay up with the movement of the phone.
SPEAKER PHONE AND EARPIECE - I think both are really clear. The ear piece is not as loud as the (sanyo5600,8300), but I was still able to hear on the highway. note: The ear piece is louder then the A880. You can active the speaker phone with the speaker phone button on the side of the phone, the other end has to pick up before you can turn on the speaker phone.
FILE TRANSFER - I am just using the transflash card in my sandisk reader and transfering the files that way right now. You have to put all the files in the media folder.
UI - SEEMS Really Fast, not as fast as my 8300 but just about.
MEDIA PLAYER(MP3s) - I have put some mp3's on the phone and played them though the speaker. I playing volume seems reasonable.
Power Vision - It is very fast compared to my 8300. I really see the speed increase when I upload pictures. It puts the pictures in a upload q, but quickly uploads them. I really see no delay of pressing the upload button and actually seeing the pictures online. The on-demand, you have to pay for, it does have some trials.
