Hey guys I work at Best Buy and I am on their volume discount program to get a better rate. Do they consider this enough to buy a 6700 from them or does it actually have to be a full fledged business account?

Sprint considers a "business" acct to be one where the company is responsible for the bill. But Nextel offers the "business" phones to anyone. And you can switch between Sprint and Nextel without a cancellation fee. Customer care says that the plans are the same but with Sprint you have to ask more than one person to be sure you're getting the right answer...I saw one ad where you had to get a voice plan and a data plan to use a Nextel Blackberry.

Not true. I have an employee discount through Wachovia. All the accounts are considered "corporate" or "business" accounts. I was able to order my 6700 because of this.

You should be able to order through business as a corporate individual liable account.

Yes, they will allow you to order it as a Corporate Individual Liable account. For the first few days of the 6700's release, they were only releasing it for Corporate Business Liable accounts, and then they opened it up to the Corporate Individual Liables accounts as well. I believe that is where it stands at this time. I was able to successfully order mine and have had it for 2 weeks now. All I have is a corporate discount through my employer just like you. Just make sure you call the right queue or you will probally get hassled. If I can find the number I called, i'll post it. I believe it is in one of these stickied topics either here or at pdaphonehome. Good Luck.
