I saved a copy of the webvier on a disk a while back because I'm constantly upgrading phones. I most recently had a 7400 that was run over. The Reqwireless Webviewer worked great on the phone. Well to my surprise when I received a 5500 as a replacement in error (lockline is out of 7400's, and will be sending a 8300 as a replacement). Anyways I tried to download the webviewer on my 5500 temp phone from the site http://www.getjar.com/products/30/WebViewer, as well as reqwireless, and it was gone! As first I panicked because it HAS proven useful when I can't get to my pc at work. But then I realized I saved it to a disk, which I still have. Originally when I tried it on an old phone it would not give me the option to enter a key which I have. But when I tried it on the new 5500 the option was there so it works. Its too bad they don't offer it to new users though..Anyhow..I tried to post it but it wouldn't allow it? (if anyone has an idea let me know and I'll be glad to put it up). I guess I can always email it if anyone needs it.....

if the file is small enough you can post it as an attachment. when you post scroll down and click on manage attachments

I think the problem the OP is having might be because the file type is not supported for attachments. If you PM me I'll give you my email address so you can send it to me and I'll throw it up on one of my servers.

This it the message I get, "WebViewer.jar:
Invalid File Type", when I attempt to attach the file.
I'll send you the attachment but I wasn't sure what PM means..Or did you mean IM? I can't chat here I'm at work. But either way leave an email and I'll send it to you to post. I'm sure I'm not the only person thats had this problem w/reqwireless.
By the way just as an update I just received my 7400 replacement phone from lockline. They actually sent the correct phone this time. I was advised they were discontinued by Sprint and backordered 2 months by lockine. I was dreading the 8300 after hearing the stories and reviewing the feedback, but they came thru.

Great find and job on supplying it. Now, how do we get new keys for it to work. Maybe a keygen? I still have my old key so I am good to go. But, for new users a keygen would be great.

That is why I was thinking of a keygen program cuz the URL only gives you a new key to replace the old key which expires afterwards. The old key will still work on the current device, but it expires and can't be used again in a new phone. Any hackers out in S.U. willing to do a keygen?

They lost money. Software issues with BlackBerry units using webviewer meant refunds to many people, poor subscription model, lost a business contract cuz of poor tech support, many more to list. Prior to reqwireless closing their forum, which btw is still up for viewing and I was a member of www.reqwireless.com/forum/ . Had many threads on these issues that would lead to their closure.

Just put the JustSprint URL into your phone browser and enter the jump code when prompted. Then the download will start.

I have the jad and jar files for EmailViewer 4.0. Cool to because i was able to use my webviewer key to register the emailviewer. I tried the key exchange first and it said that my key was still good and no exchange needed. It used to cancel the original app if you reused a key.

not likely any sort of hack would work...the key still needs to be registered through their server once you enter it into the program for the first time...
