View Full Version : Hotsync ID?!? i dont have one?

I was on plam gear trying to buy some software, and it asked for my hotsync id, well...where it shows there should be one...i dont have anything?
Can anyone help me with this?

The Hotsync ID is the name you gave your phone when you first sync'ed it with your computer. If you haven't, then sync it and give it a name. that's your hotsync ID.

well i dont have the CDthat sprint gave me, But i have a PM from you from a while back But it woulnt open on my comp. iam running OSX?

ill try a roomates PC t omorrow.

DOH!! Sorry, I only have the PC version.. I'd put up the MAC one if I had it for ya..

You don't need any software from the Sprint CD to sync with Mac OS X. Just download Palm Desktop from http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/.

You may also need to update iSync, depending on whether you're running 10.3 or 10.4. Within iSync, remember to click the radio button to enable Palm OS syncing.

well i just sync'd it with my roomates compture, and where it should say hot sync id, it just says what i named my palm....any ideas?
