Its been since december that I last used AIM on there but I didnt keep it for long. Continuous soft resets made sure of that.

hey i just downloaded this.. its not going to conflict with the buddy list that this is the UK version will it? because when i sign on, i dont even get my buddy list on my phone.. why is that? i have buddies, co workers, and family.. and on my pc buddy list, all my buddys are under mobile device.. is this why? should i move all my friends over to the "buddies" section instead?

this client looks hella old and grimey on my treo 650. It aint stable either just like the other aol /yahoo clients I tried. only verichat and causerie seem to beworth the download and verichat is the best. the price is doo doo though.

i had some people im me but it still doesnt show my buddy list.. im so confused as to why not. but other than that.. using aim on here is hard, well at least this version.. it has grafetti or whatever, but i cant use it.. then it says keyboard, i click on that and it doesnt work. you type in a message and then the only way to delete it after you send it is to use the pen to highlight the whole message and press backspace on the bottom keyboard or just press backspace to delete each letter/number individually.. kinda sucks. i think ima delete it unless someone has a solution

Its the same app thats been around for some time I believe so dont expect too much from it, even having it work well might be asking too much. Why there hasnt been an update I have no idea. Go with verichat.
There is a version of AIM on the Treo 600 under Vision Home > portals > links > AOL. Once there you can choose between AOL mail or AIM.
This was the same on my Sanyo 8200 and Samsung N400 as well. It should be there on the 650.
Not a great version, but a free version.

link to that?
link to that?
It's through your phone's Vision home page. Go to web on your treo.. It should be your vision homepage and # 9 on the list is portals.

The UK version wasn't that stable on pretty much any Palm I've had.
Right now I've just been using the new AIM forwarding thing, but before I used VeriChat. It worked well but was the source of alot of seemingly random soft resets. Toccer seems to work well too, tho I haven't used that as extensively.

Try Toccer (http://mytreo.net/downloads/details-860.html?Toccer_for_Treo) .
I found it worked much better than the old AOL program
