Excellent: I'd really like it to come to Lynnwood soon. Maybe then Everett.

Well update 1/3 ...I went ahead and drove up 99 all the way up to 148th which is the last street before south everett and it worked. Coming back I drove down I-5 and it worked all the way down past mountlake and back to shoreline. So from seattle to everett looks covered. later today is Tacoma thru Olympia. Sunday is goin to be kirkland bothell redmond.

Well it looks like sprint turned all the EVDO in the area on. i drove 60+ miles from seattle to olympia and worked in every place i was out. Tacoma, lacey , Olympia You name it ..it works. No more wondering...EVDO is running all over this place.

Which coincides with a late October launch.

I think we'll see the maps start lighting up as the weeks go by.

A little confused on what exactly EVDO is. I couldn't find a specific page on it on the sprint website.

What does it do? Let you hook your phone up to your laptop or something and browse the internet instead of buying one of those slot cards?
