question bout the treo 1.12 update

i just did this, hard as hell since the hotsync is so picky.. but got it to work.. i look at my icons on my phone and it has the update thingy.. so i do that, and it loads some stuff, then i see another icon that said BD or something like that, so i click on that and it starts another update but this one says something about "updating modem" what the hell are all these for? is this all part of the upgrade or something? i hope i did this right

nvm, i think i got it, i did ##786# and it said i had 1.12pcs or somethin like that...

howcome everytime i hotsync with my computer, its doing the upgrade? its doint a "treo updater" now.. and i think i've already done this! how do i fix it so it doesnt do an update everytime i hotsync?

you need to erase the new upgrade patch from your computer that you downloaded. b/c everytime you hotsync its putting it back into your phone.

ok, so is that the same as removing the zipped folder it downloaded onto my computer? or is there more of this upgrade in my computer in other places that i gota remove? thanx for your help man

i dont know what it would be called but search your computer by what its called, by going.....start>search>whatever the name of what it was called when you downloaded it. if there is anything else on your computer from that download erase it. you then should be good to go.
