Mercora, the extremely popular public radio service that allows you to broadcast your own station for FREE has finally come to Cell Phones, Pocket PCs, and Palms. I personally have an account that is doing VERY well with the mobile users, DJ_Moonwalk is my DJName. This is a FREE service and chances are it will destroy iTunes on phones. Mercora has been talking about making programs for the less capable models such as the LG-PM 225. This is a huge advancement in the world of mobile media. Smart Phones are PDA phones so, no, the 5600 isn't one. They're like the Treo 650, 6700, etc.

Mercora is truly a great service!!! My father has it on his Treo 650 and I love it, because with my DJ_Moonwalk account i can put music playlists on my station and set his treo to play my station, go out fr a little and still be able to listen to the music without having to put it on the phone.

Isnt iTune phones allows you the ability to buy download an MP3 song into your external memory and not simply stream a song to your phone?

Yes, but there is a RECORD feature where you can record the song as an MP3 straight to your phones Internal or External memory.
