I just recently got a sanyo 8200, and i found a free ringtone site. Of course, it needed wap, but it did say my phoen was capable. So i got onto the site via my phone and tried to download a ringer, but gave me an error message saying only wap capable phones could download.

So...anyone know how to make it work?

Also, i was just shown this site, so i deicded to check out the focus area, and i can't get it to send my phone neither the wallpaper nor the ringtone i wanted (though I'm not positive what format my phone needs for a ringer. it was a midi).

Can anyone help with that, also?

focus is easy to use just click on the focus tab and follow the instructions

EDIT: focus isn't working. try www.rumkin.com

i did, before it would alwyas just tell me to login (whether i was logging in or not), but this last time, it actually seemed to work:

Once the text message arrives, browse to the URL in the message and download your file.

Image resized to 132 x 160

So, now I'm just awaiting my text message.

I hope you have Vision on your account...if you don't, the charges add up quick (penny a kilobyte is ten bucks a meg).

If you don't have Vision, that may be why it doesn't work.

Focus is being worked on... for the past couple of days, I think.

In addition to Rumkin, there are two other good uploaders to use:

T1mmy.net:

Gtoal:

Yes you should. Then I can tell everyone to go to Don's super-cool, ultra-swanky uploader. Everyone likes to be called cool and swanky.

lol....cool & swanky is nice! lol.
ok, i've been kicking around this idea for an uploader for a while. i thought it would be cool to make one like focus, but also have a checkbox to "share" the upload, and not only would you get the file sent to you like focus does, but it would also go into a public gallery, were other people could download the stuff you shared out. Is that cool or stupid? of course if you don't check off "share" it would not be added to any gallery, just like focus is today. thought it might be cool and add an community feel.
what do you guys think???

Wirelessly posted (Psy-Bin: Mozilla/4.0 (MobilePhone SCP-5300/1.0) NetFront/3.0 MMP/2.0)

It may be too good. If it takes off like I think it will the bill could be hefty...it would depend on whether you have good sponsorship...
