ok i have the sanyo 8300 and i just set up my ORB which is pretty nasty... but when i try to stream audio (mp3's) it always restarts my phone... everytime and no matter what song i choose... video dosn't..but i have only gotten video to work once so far :irked: anyone have any thoughts?

what do you mean by you set up orb which is pretty nasty?
i have read other posts and have seen others with the 8300 have gotten it to work.
are you behind a firewall. if so you have to open up a few ports. i would first check out http://support.orb.com/support/ and see if your problem is there. if not goto the forum and post it http://forums.orb.com/community/ and then choose Technical Discussions & Questions
i dont have a 8300 but have a sanyo 5600. i can stream my mp3s,avi,divx,rm,jpg,3pg files as well as stream live tv to my phone.

i recently emailed orb about the issue with the 8300 they said it would be resolved in the next orb software update which should be released early next week

the 8300 doesn't support mp3.... thats probably why it won't play or your phone restarts.

That point is moot with ORB. There is more about the program here if you care to learn more about it:
i have had the same problem, and it was addressed on orbs forums. i believe it had to do with the way the orb was comverting the MP3s via the codec that you choose for streaming on the phone. but hey at least movies work.

I stumbled upon this website today...been doing some reading...didn't know you can do all this stuff w/ the media phones. orb sounds cool. I tried the guest.orb.com from my phone and couldn't get anything to work, kept getting M32 errors. you guys getting that too? So is this new version going to fix it for our phone? I'll have to grab it and play around with it later tonight.
