I am thinking of switching from Verizon to Sprint due to the great data plans available with the treo 650, and because I will get 23% off from the hospital I work at. The rep at the sprint store told me that If I get the employee discount that I can then call customer service and change from the consumer vision plan to the business vision plan (10 dollars for unlimited web/100 sms with a 5 dollar buyup for unlimited sms). The vioce plan I am getting is the consumer fair and flexible 400 mins plan.
I would like to know if anyone else has heard of this, or if the guy is just saying this to try to make a sale.

that sounds about right. i have unlimmited web/sms for $10 but only because i had it when it was new so was grandfathered when price went up but sprint does seem to have the best pricing on data i think. i've heard it might be coming down again (could be wrong though)

Hi and that's the data plan that I got. It's $10 for vision and another $5 for unlimited sms. I really hope it comes down again since I am paying too much for data!!! (well, cheapest around, but still want to pay less than $15/mo for the data.

yeah I believe the business accounts get that...but I'm not sure if you would get it since you are still a consumer plan with a business discount

Didn't think they still gave it away. (Unless it was retention) I have the old 2000 minutes that included vision and pcs to pcs. That is why I really can't go anywhere else, I can't get a plan as good as that...

i feel bad for you guys.
My grandfathered vision is $5 for everything! Pics, Vids, Text. lol.
My add-a-phone is $10, so $15 total - $5 loyalty = $10 for my phone. lol.
Linked to my parents account ofcourse, i'd shoot a CSR if they ever ****ed with my account tho. :rolleyes:
