I just switched to the 5600 a couple a days ago. Im having a lot of problems with the multimedia. Ive already traded sirius for rhapsody but i keep getting a m32 playback error. Also my streaming video is really choppy and it loads every few seconds and eventually cuts off. CS was no help at all. They told me to take the battery out and update the profile which ive down three times and no luck. I was so hyped up about getting this phone and its turning into a nightmare. Can anyone please help

From what I've read, the 5600 doesn't handle streaming very well. Not many phones do, actually. I just use the miniSD on my phone. I can watch anything I want, listen to anything I want, and I never have to worry about buffering or anything like that.

video needs to be in 3gp format. Deval has written an excellent conversion guide if you search the site here.

what program are you using to stream video? orb? i am able to stream video and live tv without too many problems - ar time it is a little choppy and about every 4 minutes or so i will have to hit a button to continue with the stream. it does occasionally buffer BUT for the most part its not to bad for me. i have to set my speed a little lower to get better results. how does streaming audio work?

dude get a 1gb minisd and your problem is solved. forget streaming a/v they're crap. videos that are being streamed to the 5600 runs around 30-60kbps for both video and audio. Thats why the video looks choppy and blocky. most of the times when the network's busy, it could cause hourglass. where as videos in a Minisd runs around 200-250mbps for both audio and video The picture is WAY clearer and audio is LOUD and CLEAR. 1GB would allow 60-70 mp3s songs plus 3 full movies and enough to take over 300 1.3MP pictures in fine settings, record over 2 hours of rich videos or record over 800 minutes of audio.
