Hi.. I'm sort of a n00b at this all =.=;; .. .. .. Thanks for anyone who can help.. .. !!

I have a MIDI, and I uploaded it onto my phone .. it's super quiet.. so it's very hard to hear.. I want to amplify the MIDI file sound, so I used a program called "Anvil Studio" .. ? I haven't uploaded it yet onto my phone, but the program only increases the volume a little bit.. and I was hoping for a louder sound still..

Do any of you have any ideas of how to make MIDI sound much louder? .. or how could I go about getting louder ringtones in general?

Thank you!!

Wow. I haven't touched MIDI ever since I sold my Yamaha keyboards and sequencing software back in '95! I'm rather rusty, and admittedly unfamiliar with your software package, so bear with me.

Now, what sort of procedure in Anvil Studio did you use to try to raise the volume of the MIDI file, first of all? The one thing you have to watch out for is raising the note velocity instead of just the volume for all of the tones in the file. The idea behind the velocity, not to get into too much detail, is to reflect how hard a musician is hitting a note. Your MIDI file may still sound dim because of that.

Again, I'm not entirely sure of how to rework the file, but I'll help where I can, meimei.
